OVERVIEW OF ALUZINC STEEL COIL

Also known as galvalume or zincalume steel, aluzinc steel is a form of cold-rolled galvanized steel with a metal coating composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. Its unique composition gives aluzinc steel some distinctive features by the combination of the physical protection and high durability of aluminum and the electrochemical protection of zinc.

Aluzinc is the world's fastest-growing metallic coating. This is due to the fast combined strength, formability, and recyclability of steel with the proven long-term anti-corrosion performance of the AI-Zn alloy coating. This combination results in an economical product with superior eco-friendliness attributes of durability, recyclability, energy efficiency, and scarce resource utilization.

FEATURES OF ALUZINC STEEL COIL

* Superior long-term corrosion resistance allows aluzinc steel coils to outperform galvanized coating by 2 to 6 times.

* The density of 55% aluminum is smaller than that of zinc. With the same weight and thickness of the plating layer, the areaof the galvalume steel sheet is 3% or larger than that of a galvanized steel sheet.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

* The roof of the galvanized steel sheet building should have a certain slope to facilitate drainage and avoid corrosion, cutting should be carried out at the construction site; 

* during processing and stacking, the fingerprint-resistant film should be prevented from turning black due to moisture and high temperature;

* When the galvanized steel sheet used for foam bonding is used for the first time, a small piece test should be carried out to prevent weak bonding;
